I am not a great autodidact, so i was wondering how i'll do. Turns out, Grete conducts this course in a very natural and pleasant way. Competent, of course, but that comes without saying.

Hello! Iām Grete
A language tutor and founder of EstonianwithGrete. As a fluent speaker of three languages, my passion for languages began eight years ago when I volunteered at an Estonian language cafĆ© in Tallinn. Since then, Iāve been active in language exchanges, always eager to share my beautiful mother tongue, Estonian.
Though not a formally trained teacher, I have over three years of experience and have taught more than 2,000 lessons, with many students staying with me for years. Iāve developed a beginner-friendly method that gives learners the confidence to speak from day one, which I believe is key to success.
Iāve also hosted interactive language cafĆ©s for intermediate learners and run a social media account where I share everyday Estonian through fun and simple content. My aim is to build confidence in my students and make Estonian accessible, even if it seems intimidating at first.
When Iām not teaching, youāll find me chatting in Italian, enjoying nature through hiking and climbing, or occasionally playing badminton. And when itās time to unwind, I love to read or listen to a cozy podcast.
